The same WISC-IV test is used for children from 6-16. See our About the WISC Section for help understanding how this works. If your child has been tested, and has areas of particular strength or weakness, which you would like to support, see our WISC Subtests and Suggestions.
Part of the WISC test protocol is to see how children will do
when presented with questions of a type they haven't seen before. Using test preparation products written specifically for the WISC may invalidate test results and lead to problems in testing. The titles below were written to help children build core analytical skills and to learn through puzzles and play. There is nothing inappropriate in using any of the products below with your child.
Our number one pick at any age is the series Building Thinking Skills. After that choose some things that your child will enjoy doing, at a level that you think
will challenge them. (We have more on this in our section Choosing the Correct Level.) The range of products we sell were all selected
because they develop thinking. Choose from what we sell and you can't
go wrong.
