Each of the 25 blocks in this classic toy from the 1920s has four sides in solid colors (red, white, blue and yellow) and two sides are divided diagonally between red/white and yellow/blue, allowing millions of creative possibilities. This toy will improve a child's visual/spatial reasoning while providing hours of fun.

Many parents ask us about the Block Design section on the WISC and hope to purchase blocks and exercises like those used on the WISC test. We explain that doing that has the potential to invalidate their child's test results. These Froebel Color Cubes will give you a tool to work with your child on the skills tested for in the Block Design section of the WISC in an ethical and appropriate way. These same skills are applicable to any test of non-verbal reasoning like the NNAT, Raven's or non-verbal sections of the CogAT or OLSAT.

We've had a couple similar sets, but the size and coloring of these blocks really spoke to my  kindergartner and she started making patterns on her own and following the examples immediately.

would have liked more than 10 patterns to copy
should have come with a 100 suggested patterns for child to recreate
